A church Family Building great families

At Cornerstone, Jesus is our Cornerstone!   He is the one who created, saved, and welcomed us into His family.  He is also the one building great families.  You are a welcome family member here at Cornerstone where Christ is king!

  • Partner with madras elementary

We have joined forces with Madras Elementary to build great families in our community.  We serve food to the teachers, students, and their parents on family engagement nights at the school.  We hope to tutor students in reading throughout the school year and have a reading booster coming this July.

  • Winter Shelter

Shepherd’s House Ministries, Jefferson County Faith-Based Network, the Madras Gospel Mission, local churches have partnered together to provide shelter on the coldest of nights to individuals who would otherwise spend the night outside. Shelter staff will be on sight each night to register the guests, provide a simple hot meal, engage in conversation, play board games, and help the guests get settled for the night.

Bible Reading Plan

Join us in reading the Bible throughout the year! There are two different paths you can take, either a "whole Bible" path, or a New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs path. The reading plans both start January 1st, but feel free to join us at any time if you are starting after January 1st. Reading Gods word together is a way that as a body, we can grow together towards knowing God more. Remember as you read that the words are not just text on a page, but as the Bible declares in Hebrews 4:12, "The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart" ,
